The entire Macedonia congregation is looking forward to hosting the 2007/2008 planning meeting of the Tyler District of the North Texas Conference, African Methodist Episcopal Church The Tyler District Planning Meeting, scheduled for December 8, 2007 at: Macedonia AME Church 1504 East First Street North Kaufman Texas 75142 972-962-3594 A word about the Address: East First St. NORTH means that the church is located on the EAST end of NORTH FIRST Street on the NORTH side of Kaufman. You see there is a SOUTH First Street on the South side of Kaufman. Coming from the South (Houston, Bryan, Etc: North on Interstate 45 to Ennis, Exit to SH 34 to Kaufman, follow SH 34 through Kaufman towards Terrell (watch for East First Street North on the left). It deadends into SH 34 just before 34 becomes the Terrell highway. Turn left onto First St North and you will see Macedonia on the Left. Coming from the Southeast Palestine, ETC; Northwest on SH 175 from Athens to SH 34. Exit to SH34 in Kaufman (Washington Street). Continue on SH 34 through Kaufman to the intersection of SH 34 and First St North. (watch for East First Street North on the left) It deadends into SH 34 just before 34 becomes the Terrell highway.)
