Support For The Church

The church should always be supported financially by the freewill offerings of God's people. I don't accept money from non-believers. The freewill offerings of God's people in the form of the Tithe and Offerings is the established way of providing support for God's church. The Old Testament Book of Malachi describes the relationship between the giving of the Tithe and God's blessings of His people. This book indicates that the people of God are cursed if they do not give the Tithe and give it freely. Now some who read this will say, "That is Old Testament and no longer applies". GET OVER IT! That is just garbage to get out of doing that which you know you ought to do. The Old Testament applies just as much today as it did in "Bible Times". In fact the New Testament, except for the Gospels, is commentary on the Old Testament. The Gospels tells of the doings of Jesus, the Christ. The Gospels contain numerous references to the Old Testament also. So don't bore me with that excuse. Jesus said in the gospels, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will also be". In other words if your heart is not with God, you can't give freely to the church.
